Introduction to TIG welding is a 20-hour non-credit class that introduces the basics of the GTAW process. This training includes different types of joints, shop safety and practices, welding equipment, and execution of manual gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW). Safe practices and operation of tools and equipment are explained and demonstrated.
Additional information:
This class will be taught two evenings (We-Th) per week for three weeks: May 11-26 from 5:30 - 9:00.
Minimum class size is 5 with a maximum of 10 participants. Must be 18 and older.
Cancellations, Transfers, and Refunds
In the event that a non-credit course at City College does not meet the minimum number of participants, it will be canceled and participants will be called at least 5 (five) days prior to the start of the course. In the event a course is canceled, a full refund will be given or the fee can be transferred to pay for a different course.
If you must cancel your registration, you will receive a full refund if it is canceled 5 (five) business days prior to the start date of the program or course. After this date there will be no refunds. Cancellations can be emailed by using the email address
