New Manager Training Program Series

Moving Up - New Manager Training Program offered through the Billings Chamber of Commerce and MSU Billings. The program features university faculty, chamber staff and industry professionals providing instruction on the knowledge and skills necessary to be an effective manager. Participants will have an opportunity to build a network with peers, to share and learn from each other, and to apply what they learn to their organization.

The course consists of 5 class room sessions from 1-5 p.m. on the following Thursday afternoons: January 24th, February 28th, March 28th, April 25th, and Mary 23rd. Topics include Teambuilding/community leader's session, Communications, Conflict Resolution, HR Basics, and Building Collaborative and Supportive Environments.

The course cost just $400 for Chamber members and $500 for non members. Space is limited to 15 participants. If you would like to be billed please be sure to provide your buisiness/organization billing information when registering.

Cancellations, Transfers, and Refunds In the event that a course at MSUB Extended Campus does not meet the minimum number of participants, it will be cancelled and participants will be called at least 5 (five) days prior to the start of the course. In the event a course is cancelled, a full refund will be given or the fee can be transferred to pay for a different course. If you must cancel your registration, you will receive a full refund if it is cancelled 5 (five) business days prior to the start date of the course. After this date there will be no refunds.
