Mark Kane is a teacher at McKinley Elementary School in Billings where he co-teaches a before-school STEM program. He built his first robot in 1991 as a middle school student and has been hooked ever since. When not playing LEGOs with his kids, he loves reading, camping, and playing outside.
Favorite Superhero: Mark's favorite superhero is Batman. He uses cool tools to do nearly everything that most heroes need superpowers to accomplish. He also likes Ironman for the same reasons, too.
Favorite Food: Fried egg sandwiches! His dad always made them on Saturday mornings.
Favorite Animal: Wolves. They have superpowers. In the last 20 years, wolves have changed the route of the Yellowstone River. Really.
Favorite Place to Visit: Cinque Terre in Italy. The 60-foot cliffs drop into the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea. You can snorkel through schools of vibrant fish and jump off huge boulders in to the water. It is paradise.
